This session holds an extra special place in my heart. It was the very first session photographed in my brand new Savannah studio, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter way to open those doors.
Our New Savannah Studio
I have been dreaming about this space for a long time, and getting to finally use it with a local Savannah family made it even more meaningful. Our large north-facing windows flood the studio with the most beautiful, consistent natural light. What that means for you is more variety in your gallery. Different setups, different backdrops, all within one session.
(A full studio tour is coming soon, stay tuned!)

A sitter session is designed specifically for babies who can sit up on their own, typically around the six-eighth-month mark. It’s one of my favorite sessions to photograph because babies this age are so expressive. The smiles, the belly laughs, the total concentration on a ribbon tie… every single frame tells a story.
Here’s what a sitter session includes:
Multiple outfit changes: we love a smocked bubble and a good bonnet moment 🤍
A relaxed, unhurried pace: babies lead, I follow
A mix of posed and natural: because both matter
Light, airy, timeless images you’ll want on your walls for decades

This sweet girl came in with her family, and from the moment she arrived, she was all smiles and personality. She worked those bonnets like she’d been doing this her whole (six-month) life!! The black and white of her giggling in that ruffled bonnet? Already a forever favorite.
Being able to serve local Savannah families in a dedicated studio space means your session is calm, controlled, and completely focused on your baby. No outdoor weather worries, no scrambling for good light. Just your girl, gorgeous light, and portraits you’ll treasure.

Six months come and go in a blink, and these are exactly the portraits that will live on your walls and in your family’s heirloom collection for generations.
These are the ordinary days that will one day feel extraordinary. I’m just here to make sure you don’t forget them.
