Here at KBP fur babies are part of the family. So of course when a Colleen asked if we could include their handsome golden doddle George in their newborn session, I was all on board!!
Considering bringing your fur baby to your session? Here are a few things to keep in mind.
- Let us know before the session – we want to make sure we plan a little bit of extra time for your session to include pup. Just like babies, pups can be unpredictable and are often times excited about the new place.
- Come prepared – We recommend bring a leash and a few extra treats to help with posing
- This may not be for every pup – There is a lot that goes on during a session and some pups are easily anxious around new people and things. Trust me when I say that newborn sessions are a new territory for parents and if you pup is still learning the ropes of training it may be easier to include them in a future session.
Baby Jack and His Big Brother George
Baby Jack was so sweet during his session and didn’t mind his big brother George one bit! We opted to keep a palette of light blues in their wardrobe and furniture we used to tie in to their gorgeous newly renovated home on Tybee. I think the end result was absolutely perfect.
